Worn

Thanks to a long list ailments that include fibrillation, migraines, and chronic anemia, it seems that I spend most of my life tired, painful, and so deeply worn that some days it is all that i can do to drag myself out of bed and crawl my way to the sofa. Worn is sadly a word I understand to well as during a massive flare, life is forced to wait on the sideline while I rest and recharge. Frustrated by my slide into an energy robbing flare that was sure to leave me sitting on the sidelines for several days, I sought to put to words some of my frustration at longing for and needing the restorative rest of night even though the sun was still high in the sky.
